I discovered that I loved helping others achieve their academic goals during the two years I spent working as a University Tutor and Teaching Assistant at the University of Texas, Arlington. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Biological Chemistry in the spring of 2015, and I look forward to tutoring students outside of the university setting. I am especially adept at tutoring students in the sciences like chemistry, biology, and biochemistry, but I can help with a wide variety of other subjects, too. I look forward to working with students who need help with mathematics, from elementary school math to pre-calculus. I also tutor students learning foreign languages, especially Spanish and Russian. I am also available to help students who wish to continue their education over the summer. My focus while tutoring is to get students to see that even difficult subjects can be engaging and fun. While helping these students find the fun in their coursework, I also help them discover new details about the subject so they can build on their knowledge and find out how much fun learning new things can be! When I am not tutoring, I am working on laboratory research, and I also enjoy experimenting with make-up and nail art. I also like to stay fit through swimming, cycling, and running.
