Experience
I've been a high-achiever in academic, recreational, and athletic pursuits since I was a child. I attended Texas Tech University, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. After graduating, I enrolled directly in Texas Tech's School of Law, where I earned my Juris Doctor in 2014. I've acted in the University Interscholastic League, excelled at track and football, and scored in the upper percent of Duke University's Talent Identification Program in middle school. I'm presently a clerk at a law firm. I've also been tutoring students in a range of subjects. My areas of expertise include Mathematics (elementary, middle school, Algebra), Spanish, Literature, Language Arts, Social Sciences, Physical, Environmental, and Life Science, and U.S. History, among others. I've also worked with students to prepare for Advanced Placement exams in subjects like Comparative Government and Politics, Human Geography, and United States Government and Politics. I've also worked on test preparation with students for the SAT, ACT (English, Reading, Writing, etc.), and the LSAT. The importance of mentorship is central to my teaching style. I make sure to tailor my teaching to student needs and interests. Everyone has the ability to achieve high levels of success with the right help and preparation. In my free time, I enjoy country dance, camping, traveling, fantasy football, and exercising.
