Experience
I enjoy working with people who desire to better themselves. With confidence and support, I believe everyone can learn. When students genuinely want to learn, they can always be taught something new. I see science class as an elaborate puzzle, and most of my students start to enjoy the process of solving it. I help them see the different pieces, I help them feel confident, and I show them the proper skill set they need to successfully figure it out. I like to help students enjoy the process of finding a solution. I grew up in the Forth Worth area, and I currently am an adjunct faculty member at Tarrant County College, South Campus. I find great enjoyment in being a teacher, and in helping students find their capacity to understand science. I love science! I openly admit I am a science nerd, and that is awesome. As a tutor, I have mostly worked with students in the sciences. I have also helped students with their Spanish language learning. I believe learning a second language is an invaluable tool in life. In my spare time, I like playing with my dog at the park, woodworking, exercise, cooking, riding my mountain bike, and reading.
