Experience
While in school, my major was neuroscience. I hope to someday become a clinical neurologist and also want to be a professor at a medical school. I love science, especially science that focuses on the brain. I love to read scientific literature on a regular basis, so I'm always continuing to learn and grow in the field. As an undergraduate, I did internal medicine research. While it was a challenging experience, it was also very rewarding, as I learned a lot and got to experiment with new lab techniques. I was able to learn even more during my master's program. I was able to get first-hand experience learning more about anatomy thanks to a human body donor. This was an amazing educational experience for me, and I spent many months working to learn as much as possible.While serving as an undergraduate student, I had my first experience with teaching. I tutored students in two very challenging courses available at my school. This was an exciting opportunity for me, as I worked with students to help them better understand the topics at hand.When I'm not learning or teaching, you can find me hanging out with my friends and close family members. I also like to stay active by participating in archery, hiking, and swimming. I also love to read.
