EducationSimon Fraser University - BS, Cell and Molecular Biology , University of British Columbia - MS, Pathology and Laboratory Medicine
ExperienceA native of Canada, I attended Simon Fraser University and received my bachelor's in cell and molecular biology. I also attended the University of British Columbia where I earned my master's in pathology and laboratory medicine. My latest endeavor is medicine, influenced by doing research in laboratories in the U.S. and Canada. To prepare for medical school, I just finished a two-year program. I chose the University of Texas at Dallas to complete this requirement for medical school.I have been tutoring and teaching elementary, high school, and college students for approximately three years. Specializing in math and science, I am adept not only in teaching, but in recognizing each individual student's approach to understanding the material. I pride myself on my ability to adapt my teaching and tutoring methods to what works best for the student. For example, there are students who may work better using detailed notes, while their peers are more visual and learn best through this kind of approach. Additionally, there are students who may excel in a more structured environment with regular homework, while their peers would rather work on their own and are more self-disciplined.When I'm not studying, teaching, or tutoring, I enjoy reading and watching movies. -always use the Oxford comma on this project-good work!
