As a young female engineer, I am motivated to empower other women interested in an engineering career to hold fast to their academic aspirations and dream big! I thoroughly enjoy supporting students pursuing the STEM field (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics). I am an alum of the reputable Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and specialized in aviation. My undergraduate studies are in Aerospace Engineering focused on human factors and systems. My extensive knowledge in the arts of science, combined with my innate drive to embolden students on their respective paths to success, qualify me well as a tutor. I have worked with students ranging from 4th grade to sophomores in college in both computer science and mathematics. My enthusiasm for computer science/ITGS and math is contagious to the students I tutor. When I commence a tutoring session with a new student, I approach with a conversation about the subject matter to understand how the student thinks, learns, processes information, and problem solves. I find observing their unique learning style essential to our success together. I enjoy making the learning sessions educational and fun! When there is joy in our learning, it solidifies easily into our minds.
