Experience
Professionally, writing and editing is my bread and butter but as the eldest of three siblings from Austin, TX, I consider teaching to be a constant in my lifelong journey. I feel like if I was to become President of the United States tomorrow I would still be holding tutoring sessions in the Oval Office. That's how much I love teaching. My enthusiasm doesn't only back this up but my credentials mirror that as well. I traveled from Austin, TX to my undergraduate, New York University, to obtain my bachelor's degree in Comparative Literature with a minor in Linguistics. There's no place like home so after graduating I went back to Austin to get my master's degree in Global Policy Studies with an emphasis on security, diplomacy, and law. Now I am currently in Forth Worth, Texas working to obtain my MBA. Do you see a pattern developing here? I love learning because that means I have more stuff to teach. I do volunteer work with the Austin Partners in Education when I can and I also work with kids in middle schools tutoring English. I am a dynamo when it comes to teaching and learning and I hope once we finally work I can help you feel that way about whatever subjects you need improvement on.
